On September 26,  Luke Liu, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board, and General Manager of Yunnan Tin Company, led a delegation to Hanoi, Vietnam, for strategic discussions with VQB Mineral and Trading Group JSC (VQB Company). The meeting focused on deepening cooperation, analyzing Vietnam’s tin market dynamics, and exploring future opportunities. Yunnan Tin’s CFO, Min Yue, and other executives participated in the talks.

During the meeting, VQB Chairman Tran Nghia Van introduced the company’s history, business segments, and insights into Vietnam’s evolving tin market trends. Luke Liu outlined Yunnan Tin’s global leadership in tin and indium production, emphasizing its competitive advantages, operational strategies, and industrial footprint.

Luke Liu highlighted Vietnam’s rapid economic growth and openness to foreign investment, which is driving the expansion of its tin-related industrial chain and the clustering of electronics manufacturing hubs. He expressed Yunnan Tin’s commitment to expanding collaboration with VQB to capitalize on Vietnam’s emerging market opportunities. “Building on our existing partnership, we aim to strengthen communication and explore new avenues for mutual growth,” Liu stated.

The meeting was attended by VQB’s Deputy General Manager, CFO, and tin business team, alongside representatives from Yunnan Tin’s Market Operations Center, Shanghai Trading Company, and Hong Kong Branch.
